The work is issued in 2 vols . 8 vo ., printed on superfine plate paper , and very handsomely bound in cloth gilt extra at Thirty Shillings . This Edition , which will be in every respect the most elaborate one published , is undertaken in connection with a similar edition in French to be issued by Messrs . Hachette & Co . ( on account of Messrs . Sampson Low & Co . ) , of King William Street , Strand . This publication will be of unique value to book connoisseurs , as well as a magnificent presentation work . The First Fifty Copies , twenty-five with English and twenty-five with French text , have been specially printed on imperial Japanese paper , with coloured plate in proof , and these will be issued , each copy numbered and"signed , bound in Japanese vellum , in a very neat box , at Four Guineas per copy .
