I have for several years been afflicted with Rheumatism and Gout , the attacks of which were excessively severe . At * subsequent period I was so severely attacked that he thought it would be unwise

„ IMPORTANT TO INVALIDS . rVHE Proprietor of DTL HAMILTON'S VITAL X PILLS , feeling convinced that the innate good properties of this Medicine , must by the recommendations of those who experience its benign efficacy , ( in many instances after all other means nad failed ) do more to bring it into notice , than anything else , has abstained from publishing oases of cure , and the more so , as he well knows the frauds that are constantly practised upon the publio by fictitious or manufactured cases , which causes little faith to be attached to such statements . But how different is it with those persons who are eye witnesses of the curative powers of a Medicine in their own imme «

Gentlemen , —I feel it a duty I owe you to express my gratitude for the great benefit I have derived by taking PARR'S LIFE PILLS . I applied to your agent , Mr . Bawden , Chemist and Druggist , Fowley , for Parr ' s Life Pills , for a Swelling I had in my Groin , which extended to my ancle , and I could scarcely ' walk from the pain and swelling . It arose about an inch in thickness , de&cending in a 1 me from the top to the bottom of my leg , and was quite black and painful to the touch . After three boxes of PARR ' S LIFE PILLS , H quite disappeared , and I have not had a return of it since ; I am determined not to be without them , for I shall always have a box continually in the house , in readiness for any complaint with which I may in future be afflicted . I remain . Gentlemen , Your most obedient Servant , THOMAS BARRET , Of Menally , Parish of St . Veep , Cornwall .

Cirencester , J <* n . 1 , 1843 . Gentlemen , —The wonderful effects of PARR'S LIFE PILLS have been felt by the poorer classes in the parish of Cirencester . Soarcely a family but what has taken them , one and all declare the wonderful efficacy resulting from their use . In fact , it is gratifying to me to say to the Proprietors of the Pills , my sale increases daily . Some days I sell 50 boxes . Yours , W . WHITE . Agent for Cirence&ter .

Many persons , after learning that so many wonderful cures have been effected by PARR ' S LIFE PILLS have a great desire to procure the medicine which has done so much good . Ih doing this , however , caution muBt be observed ; as certain individuals without honesty , are offering a dangeroas subsitute , instead of the genuine medicine . The proprietors cannot , of course , be accountable for any untoward results that may ensae , to those who have been thus imposed npon , but they can point out an effectual means to prevent farther imposition .

BBOrGHAH HxLt— POSS ^ SIOH TAS-tX THE Bikds . —Tiia inmates of Brougham Hall , tne seat of Lord Brougbszn , * ere on Tuesday last not a little astounded by the whole family of the Birds ( lineal descendants " of Mr . Bird , who sold the estate called "Bird ' B Nest * to the father of Lord Brougham , subsequently named Brougham Hill ) takicg possession of the premises , wherein they are now sojourning . A few wetks ago some part of the above family entered upes the ess&tes contiguous , in the occupation of some of the tenants , but after three or four days' occupation withdrew and returned home . For this tresps- ^ s it appears Lord Brougham thought proper , through his solicitor , to serve each" of the parties with a writ ; to this the family of Bird put in an appearance , when it is stated Lord Brougham declined following up the matter , thinking the writ wcu : d tSct an intimidation . The Birds have at
Jc 2 » ti taken possession a second time , and entered upon the Hail , aijd now require to see by what authority the property is withheld , sii . ee they state they arc satisfied the entail was never broken , and that their relative LMr . Bird ) had no power to sell , and that if such be the fact , no lengch of time will give a proper title . Lord Brougham will now nnenquestionabiy see the propriety of makiDg his claim to Brougham Hall a matter indisputable , and not allow imaginary owners to pay similar visits , as Las been the case within the last fifty years . His lordship or his brother ( the Master in Chaacerj ) , or perhaps bath , are expected immediately at Brougham Hall , but whether the presence- of sncli angnst personages will be a means of unseating the temporary possessors remains to be seen . The circumstance , however , excites no little imerest in the Eeighbonrhood . — Westmoreland Gazette .
