This , no doubt , arises from the us , ; of powerful aperients too frequently administered by the profession ; indeed , strong internal medicine should _always be avoided hi all cuses of this complaint . The Proprietor of the above Ointment , after years of acute suffering , placed himself uuder tbe treatment of that eminent surgeon , Mr Abernethy , —was by him restored to perfect health , and has enjoyed it ever since without the slightest return of the disorder , over a period of fifteen years , during which time the same Abcrnetliian prescription has been the

LOXDON COBX EXCIIASGK , MONDAY , _MaKCH 21—The result of the debate in the Ilouse of Commons having been pretty generally anticipated , had no marked effect upon our trade this morning ; > omc weeks must yet elapse before thc measure can become law , and until then active business is scarcely to bo looked for . Supplies of every description of grain were short last week , and there was but a moderate showby land-carriage samples this morning . Fine English white wheat was in request , and brought the extreme rates of -Monday last , hut all other descriptions sold but slowly at the currency of that day , and parcels effected in condition could uot be Quitted at
all . __ Ihe better qualities of foreign wheat in bond continuo to go off in retail to the millers , but beyond this there is no sale for the article . Barley waH held for more money , and the sales made wero at something over last week ' s currency . Oats wero heavy , but no material alteration in their value can be quoted since this day se'nnight . Beans , and white and maple peas , brought previous prices ; hog peas were ls . per qr . cheaper . In the absence of any sunplies of importance , red clover seed continues to advance , and the quotations of this day week were exceeded to-day by quite 8 s . per cwt . White seed and trefoil go off more freely than they did , but as yet little improvement has taken place in the value of cither .

PROVINCIAL CORN MARKETS . Richmond Cokn Markkt , Saturday , Fed . 2 S .-We had a good supply of grain in our market to-day . Wheat sold from os . Od . to 9 s . Od . ; oats , 2 s . lid . to 3 s . Sd .,- barley , 3 s . Od . to 4 s . Od . ; beans , Is . yd , to 0 s . 0 d ., per bushel . Liverpool , Monday , March 2 . —The supplies from Ireland during the week afford a fair quantity of wheat , but small of oats , oatmeal , flour , and Indian corn . Since last Tuesday , a fair business has beca done in wheat , both to the town ' s dealers and on speculation , and a few lots of secondary Irish new have been taken by the Yorkshire millers . On the whole , the trade has assumed an improved aspect , and prices have not receded ; in some instances , indeed , for the lower qualities , rather better rates have
been obtained . With-a moderate demand for Hour , both sacks and barrels have fully sustained previous quotations . Oats still find a limited sale , and prices are barely supported , but oatmeal has been held with much firmness , and the stock here at present being small , there are no sellers of the best Irish under 34 s . per 240 lbs . Barley has been much depressed , and there is scarcely any sale for either malting or _griuiiing samples at present . . Egyptian beans have commanded a trifle advance . In peas no change of value , aud we are almost without demand . Thc transactions under bond have been confined to a few hundred barrels of Western Canal flour at 27 s . pet barrel , and a parcel of Indian corn at 31 s . per iSO lbs . Wakefield , Friday , Ebb . 27 . —The supplies of ail grain arc liberal , and there are also a great many samples offering from vessels near at hand . We haw an excessively dull trade in wheat to-dav , and in some
instances even the finest samples sell at a decline « f ls . per quarter , other sorts unsaleable . Fine barley sells at previous rates , common sorts at ls . per quarter lower . Beans rather cheaper . Oats anil shelling sell at a trifling decline . Malt firm , and easy sale , Mascuestbu , _SAruitDAV " , Feb . 23 . —No _aiteratioi whatever can _bii said to have occurred in the state ci the trade since our last report , the transactions in all articles having continued on the merest retail scale , witha view to immediate consumption only , and iviiaout material variation in prices . There was W little business passing in wheat at our market liii _= morning , but holders were firm in requiring the rate ; of this day se ' nnight . Flour likewise met au _exceedingly slow sale at previous rates . Oats were in limited demand , and Id . per 45 lbs . cheaper . The best descriptions of oatmeal wore in fair request , am without change in value .
Birmingham , Wednesday . —During the preset week the transactions in wheat have not been extensive . Good dry ne wwbeat supported its value , to damp parcels were neglected . Fine malting barle ; a better sale ; inferior unsaleable , except at lo ? rates . English new beans iu request at quite as niuca money , with a limited demand for foreign . Oats dull , and to effect sales , lower prices have been accepted . Newcastle ,, Tuesday . — Our market was largely supplied with wheat to-day from the coast , as all tb vessels kept back by the long continuance of noriheiii
winds have arrived together , but the shows ol samples from the growers wcre moderate , anil _t' " sales proved very slow ibr the largest qualities , both of old and new , at barely last Saturday ' s rates whilst inferior descriptions were completely neglected . I " w barley , also , the trade ruled _cxtremc-lv dull and the little business transacted was on rather lower terms In malt we had little or nothing passing , live lull )' supported its value , in consequence of the axd quantity offering . Oats and other grain _remand without any material _change .
