    part of the fifly-nintls eanons and at last as a sixtieth : catiEon 9 and that in the first form it appears in Greek manuscripts of the ninth century ., The conclusion is , that there must have existed Greek manuscripts of a collection of canons , which contained , in those of She Laodicean Council , our present Scripture Catalogue ,, as early as the fifth century . There remains the difficulty of determining , whether to give credit to the very ancient collection .
